**Oresme's Polygonal Harmony**

Complete arc diagram with seven nodes (Basel F II 33: Nicole Oresme, Algorismus proportionum). The numbers assigned to the nodes are the areas of the polygons inscribed/circumscribed to the unit circle (radius 1). These areas are interpreted as (scaled) frequencies, so that larger numbers give higher pitches. The arcs represent the ratios of the related areas defining musical intervals.
